Regional Aftersales Manager - EU

The position
We are looking for a commercially experienced Regional Aftersales Manager in the EU with further experience in technical sales. You are going to represent Eltronic FuelTech and you will be responsible for building and maintaining your own customer portfolio.
You will be a sparring partner to the customers and assist them by clarifying and presenting Eltronic FuelTech’s services and aftersales concepts. You will align with HQ regarding quotations and assistance with technical clarifications while acting as their problem-solver.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure that Eltronic Fueltech’s Quality Management System is complied with.
- Be commercially responsible for your customers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a high level of commercial handling of the customers.
- Be a part of building and maintaining the CRM systems.
- Have high integrity toward your customers.
- Clarify the customer’s technical and commercial inquiries, needs, and demands.
- Ensure high quality in the quotation.
- Build and segment your customer portfolio.
- Maintain your customer portfolio.
- Negotiate service contracts with your customers.
- Be the customer’s problem-solver.
- Follow the development/trends in the maritime market in your region.
- Travel activity will primarily be within your region and around 40-60 days a year.
Main tasks
- Build a customer portfolio.
- Segmentation of the customers.
- Maintain existing customers.
- Present quotations and concepts to the customers.
- Technical and commercial clarification with customers.
- Be your customer’s internal representative.
- Plan and participate in customer meetings.
- Handle your customers from a strategic approach with a good overview – know the effects of your actions.
- Handle your customers with due diligence and lead a clear and precise communication, so that possible misunderstandings are mitigated upfront.
- Build a close business relationship with our customers.
- Negotiate contracts.
- Solve problems for the customers.
- Participate in fairs and conferences.
- Periodical reporting on activities to the Aftersales Director
-Follow-up on weekly and monthly progress
-Suggest weekly, next week’s activities and how you will handle these
-Suggest next month’s activities and your approach
-With input from the Aftersales Director, plan the upcoming activities - Gain market insights and report to the Aftersales Director.
Our HQ in Hedensted will be your base. You will report to the Aftersales Director of Eltronic FuelTech, and you will work closely with both the sales and the technical team regarding quotations and assistance with technical clarification.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with commercial education, a flair for technical products, or technical background with a commercial mindset.
We expect +5-10 years of commercial experience with large customers, flair within technical products, and ideally, you possess knowledge of the EU market. We will make sure that you gain solid knowledge about our products by organizing internal training.
It is important that you have profound skills in Excel and are fluent in English, can interact and communicate with people at all levels, and that you are motivated to build new and strong business relationships.
