Lead Engineer, Production Equipment Engineering or Site Equipment

As Lead Engineer in ENABL you can become part of the Production and Test Equipment Engineering Department or the deparment for Site Equipment, in which you can lead the development of future equipment for among others production, testing, transportation and installationof wind turbine components. We work with the design, development, and calculation of equipment for towers, monopiles, hubs, generators, blades, and nacelles.

 The job

As a Lead Engineer in ENABL you are responsible for the technical solutions of our development projects from concept to validated and completed equipment and you have great impact on design and functionality of the final product. In the development projects you have the functional management of highly skilled and creative engineers in Denmark, Bulgaria, Ukraine and India.

Furthermore, your tasks and areas of responsibility will be:

  • To have a high-level overview of and responsibility for the technical solution, the quality of the engineering work and the design timeline.
  • To drive the idea generation, conceptual design, 3D modelling, structural calculations, 2D drawings and documentation performed by and in cooperation with the Mechanical, Structural and HW/SW/Electrical engineers.You cooperate with the Sales organisation to understand the customer´s need and suggest concepts and technical solutions and support quotation. You work closely with Project Managers to secure that the projects are planned and executed efficiently.

Your profile

Preferably you have a Bachelor/Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience which has given you a thourough understanding of complex machinery. . You have 5+ years of experience within engineering. Experience with development of equipment to the wind industry is preferred but not required.

You are a Team player who strieves to keep the team motivated. You are able to structure a development project and delegate and coordinate tasks as well as you are creative and have the ability to translate ideas into sustainable solutions.

Besides having strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all level in a global organisation, you are proficient in English, written as well as verbally. With your profile, you are structured and resillient and able to thrieve in a very dynamic and changing environment.
