    • protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights
Explanation:

Howden’s axial fans are critical for Ørsted’s Power Plant operations and their complexity require access to drawings and specifications that only Howden Axial Fans ApS

can provide and that is described below:

- Only Howden is having access to original drawings and settings for adjustment of tolerances and recommended torques when assembling the fans.

- Only Howden have the specification for material and for all Destructive tests made for spare parts such as tensile test, yield strength, elongation.

- Delivery of critical spare parts including blade bearings, closed bearings, hydraulic cylinders and rotating oil seals.

- Howden does not sell licenses for re-distribution of spare parts, drawings nor knowledge.

Assessing the above conditions, Howden Axial Fans ApS is seen as the only supplier capable to provide the required service to the axial fans listed in the below overview installed across Ørsted Power Plants in Denmark.
