This procurement procedure is conducted according to the rules for competitive procedure with negotiation and concerns acquisition of 2 harsh weather pilot boats. 1 of the pilot boats are intended for operation in harsh weather in the North Sea and Skagerak up to 60 nautical mile (nm) offshore of the pilot station in port of Skagen, Denmark, and 1 of the pilot boats are intended for operation in harsh weather in the Baltic Sea up to 60 nm offshore from the pilot station in port of Gedser, Denmark.
The pilot boats are intended to do safe ship to ship transfer of pilots in open sea at medium speed, and for transit from port to ship in harsh weather at forced speed and transit in calm weather at high speed.
The pilot boats must be new with no operation hours besides from testing.
The pilot boats must be ready for delivery, which means registered under Danish Flag and ready for operation, no later than the 1.6.2017.

— The candidate must be commercial professional manufacturer and/or dealer of vessels at equivalent size. By equivalent size means commercial vessels not exceeding 24 meters;
— The candidate must present certification by Classification Society recognized by the Danish Maritime Authorities or recognized organization for production of commercial vessels including handling and storing of material and equipment;
— Description of the candidates' internal quality management system to secure the quality of the deliveries. The description can contain relevant ISO-certifications etc.
