Söderenergi AB is renewing the Line 1 at Igelstaverket. The line was originally built as a 120MW coal powder fired boiler with steam drum and was in 1997 converted by Noell to a grate fired boiler and is now operated at approx. 80MW.

The line mainly use combination of SRF waste and plastics for the car industry as a fuel.

This contract outlines three problem areas that needs modifications:

1. Internal fuel handling

2. High combustion temperature

3. The grate
